A Typical Day at Boot Camp

At Fitness Camp there really is not such a thing as a typical day. Each day is different; you don’t have to worry about being bored. But here is a general idea of a day. We will rendezvous at our designated meeting point (typically at or near a park or field). After stretching out our morning kinks we may find ourselves doing any of the following:

  • Jumping
  • Bounding
  • Stair climbing
  • Running
  • Crunching
  • Pulling [pull ups]
  • Pushing [push ups]
  • Dipping
  • Lunging
  • Playing wacky kids games that will test your strength & cardiorespiratory ability
  • Squatting
  • Competing in relay races
  • Attempting obstacle/challenge courses
  • Jump roping
  • Climbing

Each day is like a fitness mystery tour as you never know what we are going to do next. We will work on:

  • core strength
  • heart rate-based cardiorespiratory conditioning
  • improving muscle tone & definition (shedding ‘love handles’, shaping the butt)
  • muscular strength, endurance and explosive power (both lower & upper body)
  • balance and stability

In short, we are look for full body functional fitness and conditioning. The type of conditioning that will have you look and feel healthy and give you confidence in any endeavor or sport. By camp’s end not only will you be fitter, stronger, and have more ENERGY & SPIRIT, but you will have gained the skills and established a routine to keep you going.

“The variety that you have been providing keeps it very fresh and interesting.”
John

“The camp was just right with the personal options to make everything harder if I wanted.”
Gail

“I like it that you make us stretch before and after and the amount seems just right. Also, the sack races were fun and add to the variety. Four weeks is too short – can we have another?”
Kathy

You have nothing to loose.. except for a few pounds!
