Who We Are
For the past five years Fitness For Living has been energizing adults with its fun, challenging and at times wacky Outdoor Boot Camps. Our mission is to help motivate, educate, support and encourage adults to get fit, get outdoors and get active! Each year we read all of the comments and feedback that we receive from our campers and continually improve our program. We are so confident that you will love our Boot Camps and that you will find that we have exceeded your expectations that we guarantee your satisfaction. Last year we didn't have anyone take us up on our guarantee and we hope to continue our perfect record. Read through our testimonials, email us any of your questions or concerns, or better yet - give us a call so we can talk to you personally. We want to make sure that Fitness For Living's Boot Camps are right for you. Each of our trainers are certified Personal Trainers, but more importantly, they love what they do and are committed to having each Boot Camp participant have their expectations not just met - but exceeded. They love instructing, and enjoy the challenge of creating inspiring classes that will push you to your limit in fun and rewarding ways. Equally important, they are great listeners and they want to hear how camp is going for you and how they can make your experience even better. David Clair - Fitness For Living Director & Trainer David participates in most outdoor activities and over the past twenty-five years has competed in bicycle races, running races and triathlons. His philosophy on fitness and life is simple – Make it Fun! If it is not fun you won’t do it; you’ll always have an internal struggle staying motivated – whether it is work or play.
Jennifer Altman - Fitness For Living Trainer
Sarah Zook is a certified AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, Johnny G Spinning Instructor, and a licensed K-12 Physical Education Teacher. She holds a Bachelors of Science from Ohio State University in Sport and Leisure Studies with emphasis in Exercise Physiology and Leisure Management. She plans to return to school to earn her Masters degree in Sport Psychology. Since 1996, Sarah has professionally and personally focused on her passion for fitness and wellness. In college, Sarah performed as a team member of the NCAA I Ohio State Women's Varsity Rowing Team and was a coach for the Colorado Junior Crew. Sarah competed as a road cyclist on the Lee's Cyclery/Optic Nerve Racing Team from 2002-2004. She was a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor before she began to teach physical education in 2004. She has taught Hip Hop/Funk dance and currently teaches cardio-kickboxing, boot camp, and indoor cycling classes in addition to being a full-time PE teacher. Sarah's philosophy on fitness relates with the statement that pain is weakness leaving the body. The human body is an amazing machine and there's always more when you make the choice to dig deeper inside even when you think you want to quit. But, whatever you do, fitness has to be fun to you to stay in the game. Without a doubt, it helps having a team there to cheer you on. |
"Your enthusiasm and positive attitude were great to wake up to twice a week. I don't think I had seen sunrise on the Flatirons before either."
