From our May 11 – June 15, 2009 Camps

“My clothes are fitting differently, I am way stronger and I have a lot more energy and spirit throughout the day.  I feel a lot more confident about my abilities and have noticed I have a lot more confidence in general.  I don't feel as old and a co-worker told me just the other day that I actually look younger since I have lost weight and have more bounce in my step.  I was very pleased that my heart rate went down about 40 points from the first day to the last of the 5 week session and I was able to shave about 50 seconds off my mile”.

“I just can't express my appreciation for the classes.  I have been attending two weeks and already I feel great and my clothes are starting to fit better.   I think Jenn is a great instructor and the class make up is wonderful.  From marathoners to couch potatoes, we have a great group that supports each other throughout each session.  THANK YOU”

“ I really want to take this time to say how great a trainer Linzee is!  I am in my 2nd session and plan on doing this the whole summer mostly because of her.  Other trainers or coaches I've had in the past cannot compare to Linzee.  She has the perfect mix of tough love, motivation, and friendliness.  She takes the time to focus and guide each one of us, and it's like she has eyes in the back of her head because you can't slack off when you think she's not watching because she will catch you!  She pushes each one of us to work past the point we would have given up on our own.  Plus she is funny which also makes Boot Camp more enjoyable”!

“Though I am a regular exerciser, this took me to a new level.  I improved my ability to do quick exercises and regain my breath more readily. Before Boot Camp, though I was a runner, I would get out of breath when doing new, fast moving activities.  I've really improved my wind and endurance and my overall body feels stronger. This makes me feel more confident about taking on a variety of physical challenges that may come along. It was also good discipline just to show up three times a week.  I usually work out alone, so I enjoyed the camaraderie”.

“Boot Camp is more fun than a fitness class at the gym and I am never checking the clock wondering when it was going to end.  At the same time, I get home exhausted.  I always describe my workout as "hard", but it's always hard in a good way”.

“It's invigorating! You can get such a good full-body work out in an hour and 10 minutes--much better than I would get by myself. I feel really strong.  There is definitely less "butt jiggle" when I run”!

“Boot camp has been great! I have a hard time sticking to a work out but with boot camp I know I have a set class time and a great group of people to work out with. I came to boot camp because I needed to gain some upper body strength and I definitely feel stronger. My running has also improved because of boot camp.”
